From the family SUV to a weekend classic, there’s a way to move it.
Open transport
The most popular and affordable way to ship — the same multi-car carriers dealerships use every day.

Fully covered trailers that keep weather and road debris off classics, exotics and new builds.

Your driver picks up and delivers as close to your address as a truck can safely get. No terminals, no extra trips.

Details ↓Motorcycles
Secured on proper mounts so your bike arrives upright and exactly how it left.
Details ↓Open transport
Your vehicle rides on a two-level car carrier — the same kind of truck that delivers new cars to dealerships. It’s how most vehicles in the U.S. are shipped, which means more trucks on the road and quicker scheduling.
Good for
- Daily drivers, sedans, SUVs and pickups
- Moves on a budget
- Tight timelines — the most trucks are available
- Dealer, fleet and multi-car moves
Good to know
- Carriers usually hold 7–10 vehicles across two decks.
- Your car is open to weather and road dust, much like driving it — a wash after delivery is usually all it needs.
- Want extra protection from drips and debris? Ask about a top-deck spot.
- Covered by the carrier’s cargo insurance from pickup to delivery.
Enclosed transport
Your vehicle travels inside a fully covered trailer, shielded from rain, snow, rocks and road grime for the whole trip. It’s the choice when the paint, the value, or the ground clearance matters.
Good for
- Classic and collector cars
- Exotic, luxury and high-value vehicles
- New builds, fresh paint and ceramic coatings
- Low-clearance cars and show or auction vehicles
Good to know
- Enclosed trailers usually carry 1–7 vehicles, and many load with a hydraulic liftgate so low cars don’t scrape on ramps.
- It costs more than open transport, and there are fewer enclosed trucks — book a little earlier if you can.
- Carriers that haul high-value cars often carry higher cargo insurance limits. Ask and we’ll send the certificate.
Door-to-door
Door-to-door service comes with every shipment. Your driver picks up and delivers as close to your address as a full-size car carrier can safely get — your car never sits in a terminal lot.
Good for
- Everyone — it’s included at no extra cost
- Busy schedules — no trips to a depot
- Moves where you’re not at either end yourself (a trusted adult can stand in)
Good to know
- A loaded car carrier can be around 75 feet long. If your street is narrow, has low trees or HOA truck limits, your driver will meet you nearby — a large store parking lot works well.
- Your driver calls ahead with an arrival window.
- Someone 18 or older needs to be there at pickup and delivery to inspect the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading.
Expedited shipping
When the car has to move now — a new job, a closing date, a flight home — expedited service puts your shipment at the front of the line for carriers already running your route.
Good for
- Relocations with a hard start date
- Time-sensitive purchases and sales
- Getting a car back after travel or a move
Good to know
- We post your shipment at a premium rate, which makes it the first load drivers on your route want to take.
- Expedited speeds up pickup, not the drive itself — trucks still follow federal hours-of-service rules on the road.
- It costs more than standard service. We’ll confirm your pickup date before anything is booked.
Dealers & auctions
We arrange transport for dealerships, wholesalers, fleet and rental companies, and anyone who just bought a car at auction or out of state — one car or a full load.
Good for
- Dealer trades and inventory moves
- Wholesale and online auction purchases
- Private buyers picking up out-of-state cars
- Recurring and multi-car shipments
Good to know
- For auction pickups, send us the release or gate pass and the lot or stock number — we pass it to the driver so there’s no wait at the gate.
- Inoperable or salvage vehicles? We’ll match you with a winch-equipped truck.
- You get a signed Bill of Lading with a condition report at pickup and delivery for your records.
Motorcycles
Bikes need different handling than cars, so we match yours with a carrier that has the right equipment to keep it upright and secure the whole way.
Good for
- Cruisers, touring and sport bikes
- Dirt and adventure bikes
- Classic and custom motorcycles (ask about enclosed)
Good to know
- Bikes ride upright in a wheel chock, held with soft straps, on an open or enclosed trailer.
- Before pickup: leave about a quarter tank, remove saddlebags and loose accessories, check tire pressure, and make sure the battery is charged.
- Note any existing scratches so they’re recorded on the Bill of Lading.
Open or enclosed?
Most cars ship open. Enclosed is worth it when the paint, the value, or the ground clearance says so.
| Open transport | Enclosed transport | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Daily drivers, new and used cars, SUVs and pickups | Classics, exotics, luxury cars, low-clearance and freshly painted vehicles |
| Protection | Exposed to weather and road dust — about the same as driving it | Fully covered, protected from weather and road debris |
| Price | The most affordable option | Costs more — fewer vehicles fit on each trailer |
| Scheduling | Most trucks on the road, so it’s quicker to book | Fewer trucks available, so book a little earlier |
| Trailer size | Usually 7–10 vehicles | Usually 1–7 vehicles |
